Exams & Cleaning

Teeth cleanings, Fluoride and Sealant are just a few of our advanced diagnostics for exams and preventative dentistry services!

Dental exams give us the opportunity to evaluate your current methods of dental care and provide suggestions for future care in order to protect you from complications such as cavities and gum disease. They also allow us to detect problems early so they can be fixed quickly and easily.

Fillings

Here’s what you can expect during a dental filling treatment.  We’ll remove all decay from your tooth, leaving intact healthy tooth structure. Several layers of the composite filling material is bonded to your tooth’s surface, “filling” the space where the decay was removed. We’ll shape and polish the composite material to ensure a perfect bite and natural look.

Crowns & Ceramic Restorations

A dental crown is a “cap” for damaged or decayed teeth and restores the size, shape, and function of your natural teeth.

We offer custom crown treatments to our patients as the final stage of a root canal or dental implant treatment. While simple procedures like tooth fillings can treat minor decay, tooth crowns might be necessary to adequately address serious tooth decay or damage.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy, also known as endodontic therapy, is a dental treatment for removing infection from inside a tooth. It can also protect the tooth from future infections.

It is carried out in the pulp of the tooth, which is the root canal.

Extractions

At the time of extraction the doctor will need to numb your tooth, jaw bone and gums that surround the area with a local anesthetic.

During the extraction process you will feel a lot of pressure. This is from the process of firmly rocking the tooth in order to widen the socket for removal.

You feel the pressure without pain as the anesthetic has numbed the nerves stopping the transference of pain, yet the nerves that transmit pressure are not profoundly affected.

Replacing Missing Teeth

Your teeth affect your whole body. When they’re healthy, you’re healthier too. A missing tooth can affect your bite, speech and eating choices. As you rely more on your remaining teeth, you increase the chance they will wear out prematurely, or be damaged or lost. You may also experience headaches and/or jaw pain.

At Natural Smile eastMED Dental we believe in minimally invasive dentistry and aim to provide the most precise and pain free experience possible. With a depth of knowledge in the material science of dental technology and by understanding the latest advances we aim to provide longer lasting dental treatments that have better outcomes for your teeth and gums. The technologies we use are carefully selected right down to the type of local anaesthetic. From preventative treatments like a fissure sealant used to prevent fillings to complex treatments such as dental crowns, veneers, implants and root canal therapy. REPLACING MISSING TEETH

The best thing is to keep your natural teeth forever.  Through good oral hygiene habits, regular dental visits and modern prevention methods it is possible to keep from choosing whether to remove or repair a tooth.  However, sometimes throughout life due to accidents, dental decay or gum disease this is unavoidable.   Replacing natural teeth is never easy however, there are options to fill the gaps:

Implants

Implants are posts that are surgically placed into the upper or lower jaw bone. The post is made of titanium or titanium-zirconium that are well accepted by the body. The implant acts as support for a dental crown or bridge, and is surgically placed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis.

Dentures

While some teeth may fall out naturally with age, there are cases in which we need to remove the rest of the teeth before placing full dentures. In fact, many people find it easier to replace all of their teeth instead of having partial dentures. However, that can mean that people will need to make multiple appointments and go several days to even a week without teeth.

Bridges

Since dental bridges are supported by surrounding teeth, you must have healthy, intact teeth on one or both sides of the gap. If the support teeth are decayed or structurally unsound, Dr. Ayoub may need to build them back up before placing the crown. Your gums should also be healthy, since they support the teeth that hold the bridge.
